A. The words "Age Defying" are Now Associated with Women who Look Younger than their Age.

Timeline

1994 - The words "Age Defying" were 1st Introduced to American Women by Revlon Cosmetics in their Marketing Campaign for their new "Age Defying Makeup".


The "Drug Store News" article, February 21, 1994 said:
   "In Face Makeup, the Trend is to Introduce Collections Targeted to more Mature Women,
particularly to those 35 and Older, including the Health-Conscious Baby Boomer Generation
whose Members Valiantly Resist the Idea of Aging...this year Revlon is Launching a New
Makeup called Age Defying Makeup." 
   Actress Melanie Griffith was the Model in the Revlon Commercial "Defy Your Age".
